Cheats & Tips for Bus Rush
Timing is everything in Bus Rush and it also helps to have a fair understanding of the obstacles ahead of you. Naturally buses are the most represented obstacle you’ll encounter, there are three lanes in Bus Rush (left, middle, and right) and you must be in one of these lanes at all times during gameplay. The object of Bus Rush is to enter the lane that is not occupied or to overcome obstacles that are in your way by running, jumping, and sliding.
Buses are quite large and normally can’t be jumped over unless there is a jump button in front of them or a ramp that precedes them. The jump button is a giant red button on the ground right before a bridge or a bus, if you run over it you’ll be launched into the air usually onto a higher platform or on a bus top. Ramps are easy to spot and they are sand colored. Once you’re on a higher platform you can easily switch between going form a high platform to a low platform, and from a high platform to a low platform, but you can’t get from a low platform to a high platform without one of those helpers.
Another boost are the bouncy shoes; these shoes will appear randomly throughout gameplay so keep an eye out for them. They allow you to jump much higher than you normally would, acting a lot like the jump button. Be careful though as boosts usually only last 10 seconds, you can keep track of how much time you have left by looking at the boost timer on the bottom of the screen.
When you first start out things will be relatively easy as only one lane will be occupied by an obstacle but as the game progresses you’ll soon notice that two lanes may be occupied at once and sometimes even three. Generally speaking you’re going to want to spend a majority of your time in the center lane, that way you can easily switch positions based on the obstacle ahead of you.
If you spend a lot of time on either the left or the right lane then if an object is coming down your lane and the center lane the odds of you succeeding will be much lower since you have to quickly move across two entire lanes to avoid being hit, this is much harder than moving just one lane since by the time you get to the middle lane you would have already sacrificed quite a bit of time.
